All eBikes purchased through BV eBikes include a $150 professional build and safety inspection fee. Each bike is fully assembled, tuned, safety-checked, and test-ridden by our experienced technicians before it leaves the shop. You’ll also receive a free 100-mile tune-up and help with any warranty needs.

Colorado E-Bike Tax Credit – Save $225 Instantly
The Colorado e-bike tax credit gives Colorado residents an instant $225 discount on qualifying e-bikes at the time of purchase.
At BV eBikes, we apply the credit right at checkout so you can ride home with instant savings.
Note: The purchaser is responsible for paying the full sales tax on the e-bike, even if the discount exceeds the bike’s price.
How It Works
✔ $225 discount applied at time of purchase
✔ No income restrictions
✔ Available to Colorado residents — proof of residency required
✔ One credit per person per year
What Qualifies?
- Must be a new e-bike
- Must meet Colorado’s e-bike classification requirements (Class 1, 2, or 3)
- The e-bike must be certified to UL 2849 or EN 15194
- Must be purchased from a participating retailer, like BV eBikes
Colorado Energy Office E-Bike Rebate – Save Up to $1,300
Colorado’s Energy Office E-Bike Rebate Program provides eligible, income-qualified Colorado residents with a rebate toward the purchase of a qualifying e-bike.
Eligible customers may receive:
✔ $1,000 rebate toward a qualifying e-bike
✔ Additional $300 for qualifying e-cargo or adaptive e-bikes
Combine Your Savings
The Colorado Energy Office e-bike rebate can be combined with the $225 Colorado E-Bike Tax Credit.
That means eligible customers could save:
- Up to $1,225 on a standard qualifying e-bike
- Up to $1,525 on a qualifying e-cargo or adaptive e-bike
- The $225 Colorado E-Bike Tax Credit is available to Colorado residents regardless of income, while the Colorado Energy Office rebate has separate income and eligibility requirements.
How the Energy Office Rebate Works
- Apply during an open Colorado Energy Office rebate registration period
- Applicants must meet the program's eligibility requirements
- If approved, you receive a rebate voucher
- Bring your approved voucher to BV eBikes to purchase your qualifying e-bike
- The rebate is applied directly toward the e-bike purchase
- Rebates are subject to program funding, eligibility requirements, and expiration dates
Important: The Colorado Energy Office rebate is separate from the $225 Colorado E-Bike Tax Credit. Customers who qualify for both programs may use both toward the same qualifying e-bike purchase.
SDCEA E-Bike Rebate – Up to $150
If you're a Sangre de Cristo Electric Association (SDCEA) member and considering purchasing an electric bike (e-bike), you may also be eligible for a rebate of up to $150 per e-bike, with a maximum of two e-bikes per account.
